With that in mind, Hollywood co-owners Reynolds and McElhenney have taken every opportunity to maximise the Welsh club’s exposure. That has led to two pre-season tours of North America being taken in – allowing supporters to embrace the live Wrexham experience.

The Red Dragons have also become regulars at TST events – sending men and women’s teams to the tournament. Wrexham will be back in 2025, as they compete with the likes of The CONCAFA Soccer Club – a side that will feature former NFL star and WWE commentator Pat McAfee.

The Soccer Tournament WHAT NBA STAR CHRIS PAUL SAID

NBA superstar Chris Paul, who plays for the San Antonio Spurs, claims that Wrexham’s following has become comparable to the USWNT. He told of seeing the Red Dragons take on The CONCAFA Soccer Club: “That is going to be crazy.

“First of all, because Pat’s following is like none other. Obviously, Pat does the show from there, so this team is already going to be energised and excited, but no one really travels to the TST like Wrexham.

“Wrexham shows up in a whole different way, it’s red everywhere in that stadium! The only team that probably travels better is the women’s national soccer team, so that game against Wrexham, that’s going to be a good one.”
